Los Mochis, Caborca y Ciudad Obregón son sólo algunas de las zonas paperas reconocidas en esta campaña.
A lo largo de casi 80 años, Sabritas®ha generado lazos profundos con las productoras y los productores mexicanos, así como una cadena de valor que da empleo a más de 40,000 personas en el campo, con quienes trabaja bajo el esquema de agricultura por contrato.
En México, las papas que utiliza Sabritas® son de origen 100% natural y se obtienen directamente de productores mexicanos, quienes utilizan técnicas de agricultura sostenibles para ofrecer productos que se adecuen a la calidad que exige el consumidor mexicano.
Además, Sabritas® es el principal comprador de papa de uso industrial en México: al año, la marca compra hasta 350 mil toneladas de papa a productores mexicanos, lo que equivale al 20% de la producción nacional de papa, convirtiéndolo en uno de los motores económicos más importantes del campo mexicano.
Mujeres en el campo: un gran motor para Sabritas®
A finales de 2021, Sabritas® lanzó un comercial en el cual las mujeres que participan en el proceso de cultivo y cosecha de las papas contaron parte del orgullo que significa para ellas ser parte de una enorme cadena de valor agrícola.
